Jan Tatangelo became a California notary public in 1991 and worked full time for 23 years, helping to promote the profession through community service, public speaking, and education. She founded the AV Notary Network, and was named an NNA Honoree as one of the top 5 notaries in the US.
As the owner of Griffin Notary Services in Virginia Beach, VA, I’ve been a commissioned notary since 2018, completing over 6,000 appointments and operating full-time since 2020. I also host a YouTube channel (search Griffin Notary) dedicated to providing practical insights and best practices for commissioned notaries, emphasizing the critical importance of understanding and adhering to individual state notary laws. My philosophy for the notary business is built on accuracy and efficiency: meticulously identifying signers, witnessing their signatures, and correctly executing each notarization to ensure seamless and reliable service.
Fabiola Mendoza is a dual-commissioned notary in Washington, DC and Virginia, specializing in visa document authentication, apostille, and international legalization services at Elite Documents, with over 10 years’ experience.
