Bearing in mind that Virginia terminology may differ slightly from other States – we determined that bringing you to the source data for our state would allow you to speak to the requirements of Credible Witness and other Virginia-specific terms.

Business Builders
  • General Notary Work – Most of what you will need to perform General notary acts can be found throughout this website. But if you get stuck, reach out! The Facebook page is probably the avenue for the quickest response. It is Member Only, and we attempt to monitor it from 8 am to 8 pm daily.
  • Loan Signing Agents – All of your VAN Board are seasoned, experienced Loan Signing Agents. We will attempt to help if you are stuck on a process or have a Virginia specific question.
  • Finger Printing – This is a practice area that is not notarial work, however, we do have someone on the team who can answer some of your questions. We may need to refer you to an outside resource for questions that are not “general” in nature. Watch for the RoundTable discussion on this topic!
  • RON – Are you interested in becoming a Remote Online Notary? Watch our short video on some of the basics, and listen to our Podcast. We will be showcasing RON partners in the coming weeks.
  • Employee Notary – Employee notaries are the most prevalent notaries in Virginia. However, they have the least amount of training for the notarial work they perform. We will have tutorials and resources for you, and can recommend strong training, not just for you, but for your supervisor as well.
  • Apostille Assistance – This is an area that is very confusing to most notaries, although there is a lot of chatter out on the Forums about it. We will have podcasts and Round Tables to discuss this aspect of notarial work. Stay tuned for more!
