– Vice President / Interim President
Kimberly Wright has more than 20 years of experience as a Virginia Notary Public. She is also a certified Notary Signing Agent, and a Staff eNotary. As a Staff eNotary, Kim’s awareness of the Virginia Notary Handbook and research of the VA Code of Notarial Law has helped her employer(s) maintain irrefutable records. A strong advocate for training – not just for Staff Notaries who may need support in a new role, but employers as well, her collaboration on the upcoming Staff & Employer Training is based on years of experience and research as she worked through the misconceptions that are prevalent in the field of Staff notarial transactions.
– Secretary
J.D. has been a Virginia Notary Public since 2006, and a Notary Signing Agent since 2011. He believes in giving back to those less fortunate, providing free notarial services to the military community he’s a part of. As an Army Reserve Chief Warrant Officer, he drills in Maryland, and sought a Maryland commission to notarize for his fellow soldiers. J.D. is an advocate for part time notaries, and is mindful of what we can and cannot do. He believes this new Association will give Notaries Public in Virginia support and resources to safely push back against illegal and unethical demands.
– Treasurer
Sharon Wolf began her service as a Notary Public in Illinois in 2014. She has been a commissioned Notary Public serving the Commonwealth of Virginia since 2019, and now a seasoned remote online notary as well. A nationally and regionally trained Notary Signing Agent, she utilizes her 30 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry to provide an excellent client experience with clear communication, integrity, and thoroughness throughout each transaction.
Sandra Ames was a Notary Public in Pennsylvania for 24 years. In addition to general notarizations, Sandy was a seasoned certified Notary Signing Agent – completing well over 500 closings and an official agent for PennDOTs Department of Motor Vehicles. Having been a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) throughout her tenure as a Notary, she gained an appreciation for the Associations’ support, assistance and benefits. Sandy became a Virginia Notary in 2018. In 2022, she lent her experience with PAN to heading the group of Virginia Notaries creating the Virginia Association of Notaries.
